4: Outdoor Fitness Court
Run, bike, walk, or drive to the West Allis Fitness Court located in Veterans Memorial Park, 6900 W. National Ave. The Fitness Court was built in partnership with National Fitness Campaign in 2020.
The Fitness Court provides free opportunities for the public to get fit and active. NFC Fitness Courts offer equipment and space to do complete circuit training, including strength training and cardio exercises and offer a complete work out for all fitness levels based on seven key movements. NFC also offers a free app featuring instructional and work out videos with personal trainers, who lead users through a variety of workouts that build endurance, strength, and flexibility. Users of the app join a national community and can compete against local users and national leaderboards for the chance to win prizes from National Fitness Campaign. You don’t need to use the app to use the court, however; exercise routines will be displayed at the Fitness Court so anyone can make the most of the equipment.
The unique design, great location, and variety of workout stations make this our favorite outdoor recreation option in West Allis and beyond!
