In a time when “coffee rules the world,” Aisha and Shiree Henry are making a space for tea drinkers in the Milwaukee area.

Their new tea shop, Swaye’ Tea, had its grand opening at 7326 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, Sept. 12.

The word “swaye” means to heal in Haitian Creole.

“A desire to fix my own health issues is why I started the whole thing,” Shiree said. She has been suffering from severe acid reflux since 2002.
