A long-vacant industrial building in West Allis with floor-to-ceiling windows could be turned into an event space that could also perhaps include a brewery or café.

After releasing a request for proposals for the city-owned building at 6771 W. National Ave. earlier this summer, the city is proceeding in negotiations to sell the building to Chicago-based Baum Revision Group, according to Patrick Schloss, the city’s community development manager.
