When he was growing up, Mark Timber’s days were filled with flour and oregano at his father’s pizza restaurant. He’s worked in restaurants his entire life, from pizza places to fine dining. Now his days are filled with smoke, and his family works alongside him at Double B’s BBQ, 7420 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis.

Timber and his wife, Judy, took over Double B’s in 2015, and they also run the food truck, which their son, Phil, will be taking over soon. Daughter Christina runs the bar and catering operations. They’re also expanding the business into the building next door, increasing kitchen space with plans to add family-style dining.
