INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE

SATURDAY, JULY 1 AT 10 A.M.

The West Allis Independence Parade is an annual holiday tradition and brings in about 6,000 attendees each year. This year’s parade features marching bands, vintage vehicles, and live performances from groups like the Dancing Grannies and the 610 Stompers. The Dancing Grannies are an award-winning choreographed dance/pompom group made up of grannies in their fifties to mid-seventies. This year, they’ve paired up with the 610 Stompers, a group of “ordinary men” with “extraordinary moves” of New Orleans. It’s a pairing you won’t want to miss!
