We’re Back!
Ah, summer is almost here! The month of June really kicks off the summer event season in West Allis and we could not be more thrilled to welcome back some of our favorite annual events, as well as introduce new events to the community in downtown West Allis and at Wisconsin State Fair Park.
Wisconsin State Fair Park is way more than just the Wisconsin State Fair once a year each August. With nearly 200 acres of pavilions, the Milwaukee Mile, expo center, and more, Wisconsin State Fair Park hosts a variety of entertainment year-round.
West Allis Downtown is hosting a fun new series every second Saturday this summer. Summer Crafternoons will take place on a different side street throughout the entirety of West Allis Downtown. Shop local with 20 arts and crafts vendors each month and enjoy all that these local artists and vendors have to offer.
The City of West Allis will be bringing back Food Truck Fridays and Summer Concerts in partnership with West Allis/West Milwaukee School District, and will host several Eat West Allis events. Food Truck Friday will begin as a Grab N’ Go in June but stay tuned for July when we aim to allow for on-site dining and will bring back live music.
We acknowledge that COVID-19 is still prevalent, and we will continue to closely monitor the everchanging guidance and accommodate appropriate event protocols, as necessary. Our top priority will always be the health and safety of our event attendees, vendors, volunteers, and staff.
The City of West Allis, Wisconsin State Fair Park, and West Allis Downtown are all separate entities, please check their respective websites prior to all events to ensure they are still on.
